George Psarras

George Psarras is a multifaceted talent from the San Francisco Bay Area, known for his work as an actor, musician, composer, and sound designer. Recently, he made an appearance on the long-running soap opera General Hospital and completed filming for Tapawingo, where he stars alongside his twin brother Paul Psarras as the quirky characters Glenn and Ben Gratton. This film features an ensemble cast that includes Jon Heder, Kim Matula, and Billy Zane, and is slated for release in 2022.

On stage, Psarras has demonstrated his versatility with notable performances in productions such as The Humans and Between Riverside and Crazy at the San Jose Stage Company, as well as Silent Sky and Finks at City Lights Theater Company. He made his feature film debut in Pixar's Onward in March 2020 and recently appeared in the TNT series The Last Ship, directed by Peter Weller. Additionally, he contributed his voice to the video game NBA2K16 under the direction of Spike Lee.

His theatrical repertoire includes roles in The Merchant of Venice, Ideation, and The Elephant Man, among others. As the resident sound designer and composer at City Lights Theater Company, Psarras has designed over fifty productions, earning four Theatre Bay Area Awards for Outstanding Sound Design. He also co-directed and performed at the Gabby Awards in Hollywood, celebrating the achievements of Greek Americans. Alongside his musical pursuits with his band Fotia, Psarras has toured extensively, bringing Greek music to audiences across major U.S. cities since 1998.
