Catharina Dahlin

1 title Acting Jul 31, 1944 Sundsvall, Västernorrlands län, Sweden

Catharina Dahlin, a talented Swedish actress, was born on July 31, 1944, in Sundsvall. From an early age, she harbored aspirations of becoming an actress, which led her to pursue a career in Italy. Her journey began with a minor role in an Italian film, paving the way for her to immerse herself in the Italian cinema scene during the 1970s and 1980s, where she often appeared in uncredited parts.

During this period, Catharina developed a significant relationship with director Roberto Carnicci, a friend of the famed filmmaker Federico Fellini. This connection afforded her opportunities to participate in four of Fellini’s acclaimed films: *Satyricon* (1969), *Roma* (1972), *Amarcord* (1973), and *La città delle donne* (1980). In addition to her numerous minor appearances, she showcased her talent in speaking roles, notably in *Delitto sull'autostrada* (1982), where she shared a memorable scene with Tomas Milian, who humorously quipped, "Do you have a license for these pair of eyes?"

In 1983, Catharina returned to Sweden, where she shifted her focus toward astrology and pursued studies in healing. Despite these new interests, she maintained her connection to acting, making appearances in films directed by Swedish filmmaker Lars Mohlin, continuing her legacy in the world of cinema.
