Michael Hutter

Michael Hutter, an American wrestler and promoter widely recognized by his ring persona Ethan Carter III (EC3), has made significant contributions to the world of professional wrestling. He is also a co-founder of Control Your Narrative (CYN) and actively participates in the independent wrestling scene. Hutter embarked on his wrestling journey in 2002 and gained prominence with Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) starting in 2007.

In 2009, he joined WWE, adopting the ring name Derrick Bateman. During his tenure there, he was placed in Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW), where he captured the FCW Florida Tag Team Championship alongside Johnny Curtis. He also showcased his talent in the fourth and fifth seasons of NXT, a platform designed for rookies to learn from seasoned professionals. After departing WWE in May 2013, Hutter signed with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), where he reinvented himself as Ethan Carter III, the storyline nephew of TNA owner Dixie Carter. His time in TNA was marked by success, as he secured the TNA World Heavyweight Championship twice and the Impact Grand Championship once.

Hutter made a return to WWE in January 2018, initially competing in NXT before stepping onto the main roster in early 2019. During this period, he claimed the WWE 24/7 Championship on four occasions. His second run with WWE concluded in April 2020, but his influence in the wrestling industry continues to be felt through his ongoing ventures.
