Liisa Pulk
Liisa Pulk, born on June 12, 1985, in Pärnu, Estonia, is an accomplished actress known for her diverse talents in stage, television, voice, and film. Her artistic journey began in 2010, but it was her educational background that laid the foundation for her successful career. Pulk completed her primary and secondary education at the Pärnu Sütevaka Humanitarian Gymnasium, graduating in 2004. She then pursued studies in semiotics and cultural studies at the University of Tartu before shifting her focus to acting. In 2006, she enrolled in the Performing Arts Department of the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre in Tallinn, where she honed her craft under the guidance of actor and instructor Hendrik Toompere Jr. Her graduating class included notable talents such as Mikk Jürjens and Marta Laan.
Pulk's breakout role came in 2018 with the period drama "Seltsimees laps," directed by Moonika Siimets, where she portrayed a teacher. That same year, she appeared in a supporting role as a doctor in "Tuliliilia," a mystery-drama directed by Maria Advjuško. In 2019, she gained further recognition for her leading role as Õie in the comedy "Ükssarvik," directed by Rain Rannu, which follows the entrepreneurial journey of a young couple.
