Initially starting his college education at Lamar University in Beaumont, Bailey later transferred to Texas Tech University in Lubbock but did not finish his degree. His talent and versatility earned him recognition in both film and television, establishing him as a notable character actor.
In 1993, Bailey returned to his roots in Texas, enrolling at Southwest Texas State University. Four years later, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts Theatre.
