Soso Bliadze, born in 1986 in Tbilisi, Georgia, has established himself as a prominent figure in the world of film. After completing high school, he pursued a degree in Informatics at Tbilisi State University, specializing in Applied Mathematics and Computer Sciences. His passion for the arts led him to the Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgian State University, where he studied Film and TV directing from 2008 to 2012.
Bliadze's career took off with his diploma film, "The Most Precious," completed in 2012. He followed this up with the short film "Three Steps" in 2017, which gained significant recognition after its premiere at the Rotterdam Film Festival. The film was showcased at 20 different festivals and earned an impressive 10 awards, highlighting Bliadze's talent and storytelling prowess.
In 2019, his short film "Tradition" was selected for the prestigious Festival du Court Métrage de Clermont-Ferrand, further solidifying his reputation in the international film circuit. Bliadze made a significant leap in his career with the premiere of his first feature film at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in 2021, where he was honored with the FEDEORA award.
