Caroline Blakiston, born on February 13, 1933, is a distinguished English actress celebrated for her diverse roles across television and film. She gained significant recognition for her portrayal of Mon Mothma in the iconic science-fiction film, *Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi*. Blakiston's television career began in the 1960s, during which she showcased her talent in several notable series, including three episodes of *The Avengers* and various ITC productions like *The Saint*. One of her standout performances came in 1967 when she played Marjorie Ferrar in the BBC's acclaimed adaptation of John Galsworthy's *The Forsyte Saga*.
In 1977, she took on the role of Lady Paulton in *Raffles* and later appeared as Helen Carobleat in *Murder Most English*.
