Christopher Godwin
Christopher Godwin, born on August 5, 1943, is a distinguished British actor whose career spans several decades, beginning in the late 1960s. He first graced television screens at the age of 25, portraying PC Grange in an episode of the police drama Softly, Softly. Godwin's television repertoire is extensive, featuring notable roles in series such as Z-Cars, Nearly a Happy Ending, and The Bill, among others. He also appeared in the acclaimed dramas Waking the Dead and The Peter Principle (There's Something About Geoffrey), and lent his talents to adaptations like The Voyage of the Dawn Treader and Return to Treasure Island.
In film, Godwin has been involved in a range of projects, including Porridge (1979), A Handful of Dust (1988), and more recently, Mary Poppins Returns (2018) and The Dig (2021). His versatility extends to video games, where he voiced characters such as Darth Vowrawn in Star Wars: The Old Republic and Chancellor Roderick in Dragon Age: Inquisition.
