Roxanne Kernohan embarked on her acting journey in 1988, making her debut in the budget horror flick Fatal Pulse. That same year, she showcased her versatility by taking on roles in several notable projects, including a remake of Roger Corman's Not of This Earth, the dystopian action film She-Wolves of the Wasteland, and her most recognized role as "Lee," the bounty hunter in Critters 2: The Main Course. Additionally, she appeared in the documentary The Decline of the Western Civilization Part II: The Metal Years, which captured the essence of the heavy metal scene.
In 1989, Kernohan expanded her filmography with a role in the action-packed Tango & Cash, alongside Sylvester Stallone and Kurt Russell, and featured in the Playboy documentary Playboy: Sexy Lingerie. She continued to make her mark in the industry with a leading role in Angel III: The Final Chapter in 1990. Her last film appearance came in 1991, where she portrayed herself in the direct-to-video release Scream Queen Hot Tub Party.
