Hans Mosesson
Hans Kristoffer Mosesson (August 1, 1944 – October 25, 2023) was a notable Swedish actor and musician.
Born in the Enskede area of Stockholm, Mosesson pursued a medical degree at the University of Lund during the 1970s. While there, he encountered the newly established leftist theatre and musical ensemble, Nationalteatern. This led him to abandon his medical studies to join the group, after which he relocated to Gothenburg. He contributed significantly as both a songwriter and performer, creating famous pieces such as "Plast's sång" and "Lägg av!" among other works.
Throughout his career, Mosesson appeared in numerous Swedish films and television productions. In the 2000s, he became a familiar face in Sweden by portraying the character Stig, a grocer, in the first 512 episodes of a popular weekly advertisement series for the grocery chain ICA, which aired from 2001 until January 2015.
Mosesson passed away on October 25, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving behind a legacy in the Swedish entertainment industry that spanned decades and endeared him to many fans.
