Tan Kheng Seong, popularly known as Ah Niu (Chinese: 阿牛), is a Malaysian Chinese singer celebrated in both Malaysia and Singapore. He first gained recognition in 1997, primarily within these two countries, until Taiwanese artist Richie Jen (Traditional Chinese: 任賢齊) performed his song "Dui Mian De Nü Hai Kan Guo Lai" ("Look Over Here, Girl in Front of Me"), which catapulted Ah Niu into the spotlight. In December 1998, he took a significant step in his career by moving to Taiwan, where he quickly endeared himself to audiences with his unique blend of quirky, folk-inspired music. His songs often reflect his upbringing as a kampung boy in Malaysia and themes of unrequited love.

Ah Niu's fame soared further when prominent artists like Rene Liu and Karen Mok sought his songwriting talents, solidifying his presence not just in Taiwan but also in China and Hong Kong. He has made numerous appearances as a special guest at concerts throughout these regions. After 18 years in the industry, Ah Niu held his first solo concert on February 28, 2015, at Genting Highlands, Malaysia, where he drew an audience of 5,000, featuring Richie Jen as a special guest.

In addition to his music career, Ah Niu ventured into acting, appearing in the 2001 film "Para Para Sakura" directed by Aaron Kwok. He completed his education at Chung Ling Butterworth High School and Inti College in Kuala Lumpur, where he majored in Film & Theatre and Mass Communication.
