Lexi Balestrieri
Lexi Balestrieri, a talented actress hailing from Florida, has been immersed in the performing arts from a very young age. She began her artistic journey at just three years old as a ballet dancer, later transitioning to jazz dance, which she passionately pursued for fourteen years. Recognizing her vocal talent early on, Lexi joined the church choir at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Hudson, FL when she was five. Her high school years marked the beginning of her formal classical voice training under the guidance of Ariana Montecara. This foundation in music and dance ignited her love for musical theater, leading her to significant roles in various productions throughout middle school, high school, and college, ultimately guiding her toward a career in film.
In 2013, Lexi graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. While at FSU, she dedicated her time to community service and participated in student-run theater organizations like Leave Your Mark Productions and the Student Theater Association. Notable performances include Clea in "Black Comedy," the Phantom in "The Rocky Horror Show," and Hunyak in "Chicago." Her exposure to film began at the Florida State University Film School, where her passion for acting in front of the camera blossomed.
After completing her degree, Lexi relocated to Tampa, FL, to further her acting career, training at Andi Matheny Acting Studios in St. Petersburg. She co-founded Bouncy Boxer Media, LLC., an independent film production company focused on empowering women in the industry alongside writer/producer Stefanie Davis and actress Chelsea Wolf. Lexi has taken on multiple roles as a writer, director, and actress in various short films and webisodes produced by Bouncy Boxer, which have garnered recognition at over twenty film festivals across the U.S., winning awards for categories such as Best Ensemble Cast and Best Comedy.
