David Schaal
David Schaal, born on May 27, 1963, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is a renowned English actor celebrated for his memorable performances, particularly as "Taffy" in the British version of The Office and "Terry Cartwright" in The Inbetweeners.
Schaal pursued his passion for acting by studying Theatre Arts at Rose Bruford College of Speech and Drama from 1985 to 1988. Over the years, he has built a diverse career across television, film, and theatre. His extensive television portfolio includes roles in series such as Missing, Casualty, The Wrong Door, Beautiful People, and Ashes to Ashes. He has also appeared in popular shows like The IT Crowd, Doc Martin, and Silent Witness.
In film, Schaal's credits range from Kidulthood and Mr. Nobody to Clubbed and Dirty Weekend. He is recognized for his portrayal of "Norm," the dubious landlord of Shirley Carter in EastEnders, and as "Tom Hargreaves," a troubled father in Grange Hill.
