Patrice Martinez (June 12, 1963 - December 25, 2018) was a talented actress celebrated for her striking beauty and extensive theatrical background. Beginning her career as a teenager, she first appeared as an extra in the film *Convoy* (1978), directed by Sam Peckinpah. Her potential was quickly recognized, leading to a speaking role that marked the start of her professional journey.

Martinez's early experiences on stage included serving as the lead actress for "La Compania," a bilingual theater group co-founded by her mother, Margarita Martinez, alongside her mentor, Jose Rodriguez. Demonstrating remarkable dedication, she graduated high school early to pursue formal acting training at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London. Competing against 3,000 applicants for just 23 spots, Patrice not only secured admission but also won the sole scholarship available for her term.

During her time at RADA, she honed her craft alongside future luminaries like Ralph Fiennes and Kenneth Branagh. Upon graduating, she was honored with five distinguished awards from the academy, reflecting her exceptional talent and commitment to the performing arts.
