Chris Hansen
Christopher Edward Hansen, born on September 13, 1959, is a prominent American television journalist and YouTube content creator. He gained widespread recognition for his role on Dateline NBC, particularly through the impactful segment To Catch a Predator, which focused on apprehending individuals attempting to exploit minors online through undercover operations. In addition, Hansen serves as the host of Killer Instinct on Investigation Discovery, a program that delves into the complexities of homicide investigations. In September 2016, he took on the role of host for the syndicated series Crime Watch Daily.
Hansen's aspiration to pursue a career in journalism was sparked at the age of fourteen, when he observed the FBI and police efforts in the mysterious case of Jimmy Hoffa's disappearance. He later pursued higher education and earned a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication from the College of Communication Arts and Sciences at Michigan State University in 1981.
