Emil Sitka

Emil Sitka (December 22, 1914 – January 16, 1998) was a distinguished American actor renowned for his extensive work in film, short features, and television. He is particularly celebrated for his frequent collaborations with The Three Stooges, earning the title of the unofficial "last Stooge." This designation came after he was selected to step in as the new middle Stooge following Larry Fine's stroke in 1970. Sitka’s impressive career saw him collaborate with all six members of the iconic comedy trio—Moe Howard, Curly Howard, Larry Fine, Shemp Howard, Joe Besser, and Joe DeRita—making him one of only two actors to achieve this remarkable feat, alongside Harold Brauer.
