Ambra Angiolini
Ambra Angiolini, born on April 22, 1977, in Rome, began her career at just 15 years old when she participated in the popular Italian television program "Non è la Rai." This marked the start of a multifaceted career that would see her transition from a TV host and singer in the 1990s to a celebrated actress.
In 1994, Angiolini released her debut album, "T'appartengo," which featured a collection of ten tracks, including a Spanish version titled "Te pertenezco." The title track became a hit across Spain and Latin America, leading to her participation in the prestigious Viña del Mar song festival in 1996. She followed this success with her second album, "Angiolini," in the same year, which included popular songs such as "Tu sei" and "Aspettavo te." Her last musical project, "In canto," was released in 1999 and sold around 35,000 copies in Italy.
Transitioning to acting, Ambra found critical acclaim for her performance in Ferzan Özpetek's film "Saturno contro" (2007), earning her several awards, including the Nastro d'Argento and the David di Donatello. She also starred in "Bianco e Nero" (2008) directed by Cristina Comencini.
