Dave Coulier
David Alan Coulier, born on September 21, 1959, is a multifaceted American entertainer recognized for his work as a stand-up comedian, impressionist, television actor, and host. He gained widespread fame portraying Joey Gladstone on the beloved ABC sitcom Full House, a role he reprised in the spin-off series Fuller House. Coulier is also known for his extensive voice acting, lending his talents to characters such as Peter Venkman in The Real Ghostbusters and Animal and Bunsen on Muppet Babies.
In the early 1990s, Coulier was married to actress and model Jayne Modean; their union lasted two years, and they welcomed a son, Luc, in 1990. Following their divorce, he entered a two-year relationship with singer Alanis Morissette, which ended shortly before she released her iconic album Jagged Little Pill. Rumors circulated that he inspired her hit song "You Oughta Know," a notion he acknowledged in a 2008 interview, though Morissette refuted this claim in a 2021 documentary.
In 2000, Coulier founded F3 Entertainment, a company dedicated to children's entertainment. He married photographer and producer Melissa Bring on July 2, 2014. An aviation enthusiast, he holds a private pilot's license and owns a B35 Bonanza. In 2023, he launched the Full House Rewind podcast, revisiting episodes of the classic sitcom. Unfortunately, in October 2024, Coulier was diagnosed with stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma and began chemotherapy treatment.
