Kane Kosugi
Kane Takeshi Kosugi (ケイン・健・コスギ), born on October 11, 1974, is a prominent American martial artist, actor, and media figure of Chinese and Japanese lineage. He is the son of renowned martial arts actor Sho Kosugi, which set the stage for his own illustrious career in the entertainment industry.
Kane began his journey in film at a young age, featuring alongside his father in notable action films such as *Revenge of the Ninja* and *Pray for Death*. His breakthrough moment came with his role as Jiraiya (Ninja Black) in the Japanese series *Ninja Sentai Kakuranger*, making him the second American-born character in the sentai franchise. Over the years, he has amassed an impressive filmography, appearing in more than 30 films and television shows, including popular video game adaptations like *DOA: Dead or Alive* and *Street Fighter Alpha*.
Demonstrating his athletic prowess, Kosugi was also a competitor on five seasons of the challenging obstacle course show *Sasuke*, where he made history as the first American participant.
