Ashwin Sakthivel embarked on his professional acting journey at the young age of 10, taking on the role of Edmund Woodward in the Dodger Easter Special. In that same year, he lent his voice to several animated characters, showcasing his versatility in popular shows such as Pip and Posy, Smeds and Smoos, and Brave Bunnies. In January 2023, Ashwin took a significant step in his career by traveling to Toronto to secure a series regular role in Amazon Prime's The Pradeeps of Pittsburgh.
Since then, he has made notable strides in the industry, including his stage debut at The National Theatre, where he played the character Bill in the production of Dear Octopus. Additionally, he filmed his first feature and joined the cast of the beloved CBBC series Lagging as a new regular character. Ashwin's continued dedication and talent demonstrate his promising future in the entertainment world, captivating audiences with every new role he undertakes.
