Kay Parker
Kay Parker, born Kay Taylor, was a prominent British adult film actress who transitioned into a career as a metaphysical counselor and mentor. She gained notoriety for her performances in the controversial Taboo series, particularly known for her roles in incest-themed narratives. Parker authored an autobiography titled *Taboo: Sacred, Don't Touch*, which offers an intimate glimpse into her life and her experiences within the adult film industry. She passed away in October 2022.
Raised in a conservative English household, Parker relocated to the United States at the age of 21, settling in San Francisco. It was here that she cultivated her passion for acting through drama studies. In the late 1970s, she was introduced to the adult film scene by actor John Leslie, who encouraged her to audition for one of his films. Her career began with a non-sex role in *V – The Hot One*, but shortly thereafter, she was persuaded by director Anthony Spinelli to perform her first on-screen sex scene in *Sex World* (1977). Despite entering the industry later than many of her peers, Parker quickly established herself as a leading figure, frequently appearing alongside younger actors. After retiring from adult films in 1985, she also took on minor roles in mainstream cinema and television, including a part in *The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas*.
