Marek Perepeczko (April 3, 1942 – November 17, 2005) was a celebrated Polish actor renowned for his contributions to both film and theater. His artistic journey began early, as he took part in Andrzej Konic's Poetic Studio on Polish Television from 1960 to 1961. After graduating from the Aleksander Zelwerowicz State Theatre Academy in Warsaw in 1965, he made his stage debut that same year, quickly establishing himself in the performing arts.
From 1966 to 1969, Perepeczko performed at the Klasyczny Theatre in Warsaw before taking on the role of director at the Komedia Theatre from 1970 to 1977. His career took an international turn in the 1980s when he lived abroad, but he returned to Poland in the late 1990s. In 1998, he became both an actor and director at the Adam Mickiewicz Theatre in Częstochowa, further solidifying his legacy in Polish theater.
Perepeczko is perhaps best known for his iconic roles in popular television series such as "Janosik," "13 Posterunek," and "Kolumbowie," which endeared him to audiences. His contributions to the arts and his memorable performances have left a lasting mark on Polish culture. He was married to Agnieszka Fitkau-Perepeczko, who supported him throughout his illustrious career.
