C.W. Stoneking
Christopher William "C.W." Stoneking, born in 1974, is a distinguished Australian musician celebrated for his unique blend of blues music. As a singer-songwriter, guitarist, and banjo player, Stoneking has made a significant mark on the music scene with his distinctive style and heartfelt performances. He founded his own label, King Hokum Records, through which he has released three acclaimed studio albums.
His debut album, *King Hokum*, came out in March 2005 and laid the foundation for his burgeoning career. This was followed by the critically acclaimed *Jungle Blues*, released on August 28, 2008, which earned notable recognition at the 2009 ARIA Music Awards. The album won the award for Best Blues and Roots Album and garnered several nominations, including Best Male Artist and Breakthrough Artist – Album.
Stoneking’s third album, *Gon' Boogaloo*, was released on October 17, 2014, and achieved commercial success, reaching No. 17 on the ARIA Albums Chart. At the 2015 ARIA Music Awards, it was honored with the Best Blues & Roots Album award, further solidifying his reputation in the genre. C.W.
