James Horan, an accomplished American actor and voice artist, was born on December 14, 1954, in Louisville, Kentucky. His journey into the performing arts began in theater during his time at Centre College, eventually leading him to attain a master's degree in acting from the University of Iowa. Horan quickly made a name for himself in the world of soap operas, landing significant roles in popular series such as “Guiding Light,” “General Hospital,” “All My Children,” and “Loving.”

Horan is perhaps best known for his impressive guest roles across four different series in the iconic Star Trek franchise, particularly his memorable recurring character, “Future Guy,” on “Star Trek: Enterprise.” His film career includes notable supporting performances in Clint Eastwood's “Flags of Our Fathers” and “The Changeling.”
