Nikki Sixx
Nikki Sixx, born Frank Carlton Serafino Feranna Jr. on December 11, 1958, is a prominent American musician celebrated as the co-founder, bassist, and chief songwriter of the iconic heavy metal band Mötley Crüe. Sixx stands out as the only member to have been part of the band throughout its entire existence. Before establishing Mötley Crüe, he played with the band Sister and subsequently formed London with his Sister bandmate Lizzie Grey.
In the early 2000s, Sixx ventured into side projects, creating the band 58 in 2000 alongside Dave Darling, Steve Gibb, and Bucket Baker, which released the album Diet for a New America. He also collaborated with L.A. Guns guitarist Tracii Guns to form the hard rock supergroup Brides of Destruction in 2002. In 2006, he launched Sixx:A.M. to produce an audio companion to his autobiography, The Heroin Diaries: A Year in the Life of a Shattered Rock Star, collaborating with songwriter and vocalist James Michael and guitarist DJ Ashba.
In addition to music, Sixx launched a clothing line, "Royal Underground," in 2006. He also hosts the nationally syndicated rock music radio shows "Sixx Sense" and "The Side Show Countdown," which premiered in 2010.
Sixx has been married three times, with his first wife being Playboy Playmate Brandi Brandt (1989-1996), with whom he shares three children. He later married actress Donna D'Errico, and currently, he is married to Courtney Binghamton, with whom he has a daughter, Ruby Sixx, born July 27, 2019.
