Jordan Kaplan
Jordan Kaplan is distinguished by the diverse life experiences he brings to his artistic endeavors. Initially pursuing a scientific path, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Chemistry, followed by a Master’s degree in Public Health. His creative side flourished as he toured from 2013 to 2017 as the drummer for the rock band Needle Points, showcasing his musical talents on drums, guitar, and bass.
By the age of 30, Jordan had traveled to over 30 countries, gaining invaluable insights into different cultures. His commitment to humanitarian efforts is evident in his volunteer work in Haiti after the devastating earthquake of 2010, as well as his time spent assisting underprivileged communities in Peru and the Philippines.
In June 2017, after graduating from The University of Pennsylvania and stepping away from the music scene, Jordan decided to explore his long-held passion for acting and comedy. In 2019, he took a leap of faith, packing his belongings into his Prius and relocating to Los Angeles to pursue his dreams. Since then, he has become a regular at open mics around LA, honing his stand-up routine. His dedication to comedy led him to be accepted into the Conservatory at Second City LA. When he isn't performing, Jordan works remotely for a health department, addressing COVID-19 related issues, or serving as a barista in Hollywood.
