Reshma Shetty is a talented British-American actress and singer, widely recognized for her pivotal role as Divya Katdare in the USA Network series "Royal Pains," which aired from 2009 to 2016. This role marked her as one of the first leading South Asian female characters on American television. Born on November 2, 1977, in Manchester, England, to Indian parents, Shetty's artistic journey began with a focus on music. She earned a Bachelor of Music in Opera Performance from James Madison University, followed by a Master of Music from the University of Kentucky and an artist diploma from the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music.
Her impressive background in opera led her to transition into musical theater, where she garnered acclaim for her performance as Priya in the national tour of "Bombay Dreams" in 2006.
