Mignon Farmani

Mignon Farmani is a talented American actress hailing from Compton, California, born to an African American mother, Patricia Farmani, and an Iranian father, art gallerist Hossein Farmani. With a career spanning over 15 years, Mignon began her acting journey under the guidance of renowned acting coach Aaron Speiser in Beverly Hills. She further honed her skills in musical theater with Professor Christa Havenhill at Chaffey College and received commercial training from Coach Mike Pointer.

Mignon has earned recognition for her ability to embody complex and distinctive characters, notably playing "Naadia Khouri" in "Staged: The Series" and "Sandra McGee" in Oxygen's true crime series "Buried in the Backyard." She also captivated audiences as "Dorothy" in a widely acclaimed production of "The Wiz," where her performances consistently drew sold-out crowds.

In addition to her on-screen roles, Mignon has lent her voice to various animations, including "Persia the Pussycat" in NatGeoAfterDark's "The CatNapper." One of her most profound roles is Tiana Shaheed in the film "Sicko," which resonates deeply with her personal background. Mignon aimed to portray Tiana’s story with authenticity, fostering dialogue and compassion around the challenges faced by mothers.
