Russ McCubbin

Julian Russell "Russ" McCubbin (January 16, 1935 – June 28, 2018) was a talented American actor and stunt performer, renowned for his contributions to both television and cinema. Born and raised with a passion for sports, McCubbin thrived at Charleston High School and later served as captain of both the football and track teams at Hargrave Military Academy. His athletic prowess earned him scholarships from various colleges, ultimately leading him to Virginia Tech. In 1954, he volunteered for military service and spent three years in the United States Army, receiving an honorable discharge in 1957.
