The Weeknd
Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, better known as The Weeknd, was born on February 16, 1990, in Canada. He has carved out a unique niche in the music industry as a singer, songwriter, and record producer, renowned for his innovative sound, artistic evolution, and distinct falsetto. His impressive collection of accolades includes four Grammy Awards, 20 Billboard Music Awards, 22 Juno Awards, six American Music Awards, two MTV Video Music Awards, a Latin Grammy Award, and nominations for both an Academy Award and a Primetime Emmy Award.
The Weeknd gained widespread acclaim with his second studio album, *Beauty Behind the Madness* (2015), which soared to number one on the US charts and featured hit singles like "Can't Feel My Face" and "The Hills."
