Sian Brooke
Sian Brooke is a talented British actress celebrated for her diverse roles in television and theater. Born Sian Elizabeth Phillips in Lichfield, Staffordshire, England, she is the youngest of three siblings in a family with Welsh roots; her father was a police officer and her mother a teacher. To distinguish herself from the well-known actress Siân Phillips, she adopted the stage name Brooke, inspired by a general from the English Civil War associated with her hometown.
Brooke's passion for acting ignited at an early age, joining the Lichfield Youth Theatre at just 11 years old. She later became a member of the National Youth Theatre, which paved her way to the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), where she honed her craft and graduated in 2002.
