Osgood Perkins
Osgood Robert "Oz" Perkins II, born on February 2, 1974, is a notable American actor and filmmaker. His career took off at a young age when he portrayed the younger version of his father, Anthony Perkins' iconic character Norman Bates, in the 1983 film Psycho II. Over the years, he has built an impressive filmography, appearing in various films such as Six Degrees of Separation (1993), Legally Blonde (2001), Not Another Teen Movie (2001), Star Trek (2009), and more recently, Nope (2022).
Perkins transitioned to directing with his debut horror film, The Blackcoat's Daughter, released in 2015. This marked the beginning of his recognition as a skilled director in the horror genre. He followed this success with several acclaimed works, including I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House (2016), Gretel & Hansel (2020), and is set to release Longlegs in 2024 and The Monkey in 2025. In addition to his directing ventures, Perkins co-founded the production company Phobos alongside producer Chris Ferguson, further solidifying his influence in the film industry.
