Reg E. Cathey
Reginald Eurias Cathey (August 18, 1958 – February 9, 2018) was a distinguished American character actor celebrated for his impactful performances across various television series and films. He gained significant recognition for his portrayal of Norman Wilson in the acclaimed HBO series The Wire and as Martin Querns in the gritty drama Oz. Additionally, Cathey was known for his role as the game show announcer in the educational program Square One Television. He also played Dr. Franklin Storm in the 2015 reboot of the superhero film Fantastic Four, showcasing his versatility in both dramatic and fantastical roles.
