Keara Barnes

Keara Barnes is a distinguished actor, writer, producer, and director hailing from Vancouver, British Columbia. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from the University of Victoria and further honed her craft at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York City. With over a decade of professional experience, Keara has built an impressive portfolio, boasting more than 50 credits across theatre, film, and voiceover.

As the Artistic Director of Standing Room Only Theatre, she has successfully created and starred in two acclaimed one-woman shows, "Almost a Stepmom" and "Traveltheatrics," both of which have toured Western Canada, receiving rave reviews, sold-out performances, and significant media attention from outlets like Global TV, CBC, and The Vancouver Sun.

In addition to her work on stage, Keara has made a mark as an independent filmmaker, serving as the writer and producer for numerous short films. Her talent as a voiceover artist has led her to lend her voice to a variety of characters across multiple projects, showcasing her versatility.

Keara also plays a pivotal role as an Artistic Associate at the Vancouver Horror Show Film Festival, reflecting her passion for the genre. With her diverse skill set and dedication to the arts, Keara Barnes continues to make a significant impact in the entertainment industry.
