**Eman Fiala** was a talented figure in the realm of music and film, deeply influenced by his family's artistic heritage. Born into a lineage of performers, his father, Karel Fiala (1871-1931), and brother, Ferenc Futurista (1891-1947), both enjoyed successful acting careers, while his cousin, Jiří Julius Fiala (1892-1974), made his mark as a composer. Initially drawn to classical music, Eman became a conductor, collaborating with cabarets such as Rokoko and Červená sedma, which eventually led him to the world of acting.
Fiala's film career began with his appearance in the silent film *Učitel orientálních jazyků* in 1918. Over the course of his lifetime, he amassed an impressive portfolio, portraying nearly two hundred roles in both silent and sound films. His versatility allowed him to take on a range of characters, frequently depicting musicians, composers, conductors, and music teachers. Among his notable performances are Eman Habásek in *Muži v ofsajdu* (1931), Lojzíka Chrastila in *Batalion* (1927, 1937), and Bianchini in *Pytlákově schovance* (1949).
