Robert LaSardo is an American actor renowned for his diverse roles and prior service in the U.S. Navy.

His artistic journey commenced at the High School of Performing Arts in New York City, where he excelled as an honors student before further honing his craft at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. LaSardo dedicated four years to the Navy, during which he spent two years managing attack dogs in the Aleutian Islands.

LaSardo's acting career took off in 1987 with his role in Abel Ferrara's independent film, China Girl. Following this, he secured various minor roles before gaining recognition in television series such as The X-Files, CSI: Miami, and Nip/Tuck, where he frequently portrayed villains, particularly drug dealers and gang leaders. His filmography also includes notable performances in major films like Waterworld and The Mule, where he continued to embody antagonistic characters.

He has made frequent appearances in independent horror films, featuring in titles such as The Human Centipede 3 (Final Sequence), Autopsy, and Parlor. In 2020, he was seen alongside Sally Kirkland in Hope for the Holidays.

In December 2021, it was announced that LaSardo would be part of the cast for The Legend of Jack and Diane, a female-led revenge thriller directed by Bruce Bellocchi, alongside talents like Tom Sizemore and Lydia Zelmac. Filming commenced in Los Angeles on January 17, 2022.

LaSardo is also involved with USA Cares, an organization dedicated to supporting the families of military personnel, reflecting his commitment to veterans’ causes.
