Alex Lowe, born on January 15, 1968, is a multifaceted English actor, comedian, and voice artist known for his unique characters and comedic performances. He gained popularity as the creator and performer of Barry from Watford on Steve Wright's BBC Radio 2 show and Iain Lee's programs, as well as the memorable Clinton Baptiste from Peter Kay's *Phoenix Nights*, a role that led to successful tours.

Lowe's career commenced with a television debut in 1981 on Thames Television's *Theatre Box*. He showcased his theatrical talent as Wharton in "Another Country" at the Queen's Theatre in London and played Young Edmond Bertram in the BBC's adaptation of *Mansfield Park* in 1983.
