**Leonardo Cecchi: A Rising Star in Film and Theater**
Leonardo Cecchi is rapidly making a name for himself in the realms of film, television, and theater. He gained recognition for his role in Disney's *Alex & Co.* and has since showcased his versatility in various projects, including the HBO Max series *A Christmas Mystery* and the biopic *Lamborghini: The Man Behind the Legend*, where he portrayed the innovative engineer Gian Paolo Dallara.
Born in Minneapolis to an Iowan mother and an Italian father, Leonardo grew up immersed in two rich cultures. His passion for performance blossomed early, leading him to a performing arts high school in Turin, Italy. There, his talent caught the eye of a Disney casting director, paving the way for a successful four-season run on *Alex & Co.*, as well as appearances in two Disney films—one of which earned him a nomination for Best Original Song.
After relocating to Los Angeles in 2017, he honed his craft at The Chubbuck Acting Studio and excelled academically at Santa Monica College, achieving a 4.0 GPA and gaining admission to UCLA before deciding to fully commit to acting. Currently, he is advancing through a prestigious two-year program at the Sanford Meisner Center.
Cecchi's filmography includes six feature films and four television series, such as Ryan Murphy's *American Horror Stories*. He also took on a leading role in the Italian tour of the musical *Peter Pan*. Beyond acting, he wrote, directed, and starred in the short film *Louie's Emotions*, a project that showcased his ability to embody multiple characters and earned him accolades at the LA Top Shorts Film Festival. With his latest endeavor, *The Echo Project*, he continues to explore storytelling from both in front of and behind the camera.
