Franco Escamilla

Franco Escamilla was born in Cuautla de Morelos and faced significant challenges early in life. At the age of 16, following his parents' separation, he relocated to Monterrey, Nuevo León with just a guitar and a suitcase filled with clothes for a fortnight. He pursued education at the Superior School of Music and Dance of Monterrey (ESMDM) for three and a half years, alongside a brief foray into criminology studies.

Before carving out his niche in comedy, Escamilla dabbled in various jobs, including working as a waiter, serving hamburgers, barbecuing, and even performing as a traveling singer in bars and trucks. His versatility and rich life experiences have greatly influenced his comedic style.

Today, Franco Escamilla is celebrated for his stand-up comedy, having performed extensively across Mexico and Latin America. He has even embarked on a global "World Tour," with confirmed shows in Europe, the United States, Japan, and Australia. His meteoric rise to fame has made him a trailblazer in the Mexican comedy scene, marking a historic milestone as the first comedian to perform at the National Auditorium and other significant venues in Mexico. As the leading figure in stand-up comedy in the country, Escamilla continues to resonate with audiences through his unique storytelling and humor.
