Miguel Rodarte embarked on his cinematic journey with a noir short film during his college years, igniting his passion for acting. He honed his craft by studying the Strasberg method in Mexico City before furthering his education at a contemporary theater school under the esteemed Polish director Ludwik Margules. Through this experience, he developed a profound appreciation for the works of Strindberg, Shakespeare, and Peter Brook.
Upon completing his formal training, Miguel made a remarkable debut, portraying Bosie, the lover of Oscar Wilde, in the Mexican staging of the acclaimed play "Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde." His portrayal of the historical figure "El Tigre de Santa Julia" garnered him widespread critical acclaim and numerous accolades, including an MTV Movie Award.

His impressive performances earned him the "GQ Man of the Year Award" in the same year, and he has served as a jury member for the International Emmy Awards on two occasions.
In addition to his film success, Miguel has made significant contributions to theater and television, winning several awards for his stage performances.
