Stacy Galina
Stacy Galina embarked on her acting journey with a minor role in the 1989 comedy film *Big Man on Campus*, marking her entry into the entertainment industry. She soon garnered attention with her appearance in David Jacobs' series *Paradise*, which paved the way for her more prominent role in the acclaimed television series *Knots Landing*. Galina made her first appearance on the show as Mary Frances Sumner in 1990 before becoming a series regular as Kate Whittaker during the final three seasons. She later revisited her character in the 1997 reunion film, *Knots Landing: Back to the Cul-de-Sac*.
Throughout her career, Galina featured in various short-lived sitcoms, including *Daddy's Girls* (CBS, 1994), *Lost on Earth* (USA Network, 1997), *Alright Already* (The WB, 1997–1998), and *Hidden Hills* (NBC, 2002–2003). Additionally, she made guest appearances on popular shows like *Party of Five*, *Friends*, *Will & Grace*, and *Boston Legal*, and had a recurring role on *Providence*. In 1998, she took on a leading role in the direct-to-video horror film *Children of the Corn V: Fields of Terror*, where she portrayed the final girl, showcasing her versatility as an actress.
