Kay Tse
Kay Tse On-kei (謝安琪), born on March 13, 1977, in Hong Kong, is a celebrated Cantopop singer-songwriter and entertainer, widely recognized as one of the leading voices in Cantonese music. Tse entered the music scene in 2005 when she signed with Ban Ban Music and released her debut album, quickly establishing herself as a key player in Cantopop culture. Her versatility shines through her impressive vocal range and her ability to navigate various music genres, particularly jazz.
Tse garnered significant attention in 2008 with her hit "Wedding Invitation Street," which dominated the major music charts in Hong Kong. The following year, her album *Binary* achieved both commercial success and critical acclaim, earning her prestigious accolades such as the "Media Award – Album" and "Media Award – Performer," solidifying her status in the industry.
In early 2009, she unveiled her sixth studio album, *Yelling*, featuring the widely popular single "Song of The Year." This marked the start of her first headlining tour, *Yelling LIVE 2009*, with the album becoming one of the top-selling records of the year. Tse expanded her musical repertoire by releasing her first Mandarin album, *My Second Home*, in November 2010, which included the chart-topping single "Weakness." Alongside fellow stars Joey Yung, Miriam Yeung, and Denise Ho, she is regarded as one of the four top female Cantopop artists. Tse married fellow artist Louis Cheung on January 20, 2007, and welcomed their son on June 16, 2007.
