Nicholas Kadi, originally named Nameer El-Kadi, was born on September 22, 1952, in Istanbul, Turkey, to Iraqi parents. His father, Nizar el Kadi, served as an ambassador for Iraq, providing Kadi with a culturally rich upbringing.
