Ivo Linna

Ivo Linna, born on June 12, 1949, in Kuressaare, is a prominent Estonian singer and occasional actor known for his significant contributions to the music scene in Estonia. He gained international recognition when he represented Estonia at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1996, performing alongside Maarja Liis Ilus with the captivating song "Kaelakee Hääl" (The Sound of a Necklace), which secured a commendable fifth place.

In 2017, Linna showcased his enduring talent by competing in the Eesti Laul festival with "Suur Loterii" (Big Lottery). The track was successful in its semi-final, ultimately finishing fifth in the grand final, demonstrating his continued popularity and relevance in the Estonian music landscape.

Further cementing his legacy, Ivo teamed up with his son, Robert Linna, and the band Supernova to participate in Eesti Laul 2021 with the song "Ma Olen Siin" (I'm Here).
