Growing up in a theatrical environment, she is the daughter of renowned Irish actor Tony Doyle. She honed her craft at the prestigious London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, preparing her for a successful career in television and theatre.

Doyle's breakout role arrived in 1991 when she portrayed the witty and sharp-tongued secretary Joy in *Drop The Dead Donkey*, which became a defining part of her career. She continued to make her mark with appearances in popular shows such as *Minder* (1994), *Soldier, Soldier* (1996), and *A Touch of Frost* (1997). Following her father's passing in 2000, she was invited to join *Ballykissangel*, a decision she initially hesitated to make due to emotional concerns but ultimately embraced.
