LJ Ugarte, born on January 6, 1981, in Brooklyn, New York, is a multifaceted American actor, singer, songwriter, and an acclaimed filmmaker. From a young age, LJ was enchanted by the performing arts, starting his journey in singing, dance, and acting at just five years old. His passion blossomed during his time with the Ballet Hispanico Dance Company, where he honed his skills and embraced the beauty of artistic expression.
After relocating to West Palm Beach, Florida, he attended Palm Beach Lakes High School in 1997, where he immersed himself in acting, adopting the Sanford Meisner technique to enhance his performances on both stage and screen. During his senior year, he showcased his dance prowess in the production "Gunplay" with the Florida Stage company. LJ later pursued a degree in computer graphic design and imaging at Keiser College, balancing his academic pursuits with a burgeoning music career.
Following his graduation, LJ dedicated himself to refining his artistic abilities, performing in various nightclubs nationwide alongside fellow artists. His passion for the arts led him to establish Firecreek Entertainment LLC in West Palm Beach, where he continues to produce independent films.
