Anna Haugh

Anna Haugh is a distinguished Irish chef, restaurateur, and television personality, known for her culinary expertise and engaging on-screen presence. Hailing from Dublin and raised in Tallaght, she began her culinary journey at Presentation Secondary School in Terenure before honing her skills at the TU Dublin School of Culinary Arts and Food Technology. Her professional career kicked off in Dublin under the mentorship of Derry Clarke at L'Ecrivain. Haugh later relocated to London, where she collaborated with renowned chefs such as Philip Howard, Shane Osborn, and Gordon Ramsay, and also trained with Gualtiero Marchesi in Paris.

In May 2019, she opened Myrtle Restaurant in Chelsea, London, honoring the legacy of Myrtle Allen, a celebrated Irish Michelin star chef. Haugh's television career was launched in 2004 with the BBC series The Stress Test. She has since appeared as a guest judge on Gordon Ramsay's Hell's Kitchen and BBC's Ready Steady Cook, among others. Her notable roles include co-presenting two seasons of Royal Recipes and serving as a resident chef on Morning Live.

In 2022, she took over as a judge on Masterchef: The Professionals and has been a recurring guest on popular shows like Saturday Kitchen. In 2020, she showcased her skills by winning an episode of Channel 4's Snackmasters. Haugh has earned accolades including the Best International Chef award at the FOOD AND WINE Awards in 2019 and her restaurant received 3 AA Rosettes in 2021. Looking ahead, she plans to launch a wine bar, The Little Sister, at Myrtle Restaurant in 2024.
