Megan Tremethick
Megan Tremethick is a talented actress, filmmaker, writer, and producer hailing from Cornwall. She gained significant recognition for her portrayal of Queen Ginnarra in the 2025 feature The Reign of Queen Ginnarra, under the direction of Lawrie Brewster. Additionally, she showcased her versatility by playing the Sorceress Nemain in the 2024 film The Slave and the Sorcerer, also directed by Brewster, which pays homage to 80s sword and sorcery cinema.
Megan's career began on the stage, where she developed her craft before shifting to screen roles. Her dedication to film was evident as she participated in the BFI Film Academy's Chalk program in 2016, honing her skills further.
In 2021, she took a bold step in her career by directing her first short horror film, Slot (2022), which drew inspiration from the iconic Giallo genre of horror, particularly the works of Dario Argento. Megan's latest endeavor, Spoiling You, sees her wearing multiple hats as director, writer, and lead actress. The film delves into the eerie world of ASMR, where she plays the enigmatic Miss Mutter. Additionally, she stars alongside Jane Merrow in In the Grip of Terror (2025), a tribute to the classic horror legacy of Amicus Productions, set for release in 2025.
