David Paetkau

David Paetkau is an actor of Canadian-American descent, widely recognized for his portrayal of Evan Lewis in "Final Destination 2" and the character Beck McKaye, who appears posthumously in the series "Whistler," which aired from 2006 to 2008. His filmography also includes roles in "I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer," "Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem" (2007), and he made a guest appearance as Brent in the "Vampire" episode of "So Weird."

Currently, Paetkau takes on the role of Sam Braddock in "Flashpoint," a police drama series produced by CTV that is filmed in the Toronto area. This show is also broadcast in the United States on CBS during Friday night slots. Following a successful initial run in the summer of 2008, CBS commissioned a complete second season consisting of 22 episodes, which continues to air on Friday nights and has garnered favorable ratings. The cast of "Flashpoint" also features notable actors such as Enrico Colantoni, Hugh Dillon, and Amy Jo Johnson.
