Cristina Serafini

Cristina Serafini was born in Turin, Italy, as the only child of a housewife and a pizza chef. From a young age, she aspired to become an actress and earned a scholarship to the renowned Scuola del Teatro Stabile di Torino, established by acclaimed director Luca Ronconi. Proficient in Italian, English, French, and Spanish, Serafini has carved a successful path in the entertainment industry.

Since the early 2000s, she has featured in 29 films and television series, gaining significant recognition for her roles in productions such as *Il Divo*, *Colpo d'occhio*, *Il bene e il male*, *Il peccato e la vergogna*, and *Valzer*, which was showcased at the 64th Venice International Film Festival. Her film debut occurred in the 2006 movie *Sono tornato al nord*, but it was her powerful performance in Roberto Cuzzillo's *Senza fine* (2009) that marked her early success, earning her critical acclaim and the Best Actress in a Leading Role Award at the Chieti Film Festival directed by Roberto Faenza.

In 2011, Serafini took on four leading roles, including a notable part as Alessandro Gassman's fiancée in *Natale per due*, which earned her the Best Rising Italian Actress Award at the Premio Internazionale Euro-Mediterraneo in Rome. Despite frequent media attention, especially regarding her friendship with American actor and director Sean Penn, Serafini remains private about her personal life. Recently, she has been seen starring in the CBS soap opera *The Young and the Restless*.
